Ngāti Hine Health Trust has established itself as an exponential leader in the delivery of hauora me te oranga (health and wellbeing) services within Te Tai Tokerau, for over thirty years.

We deliver services for whānau across multiple sectors including health, disability support, mental health & addictions, primary care, justice, corrections, housing, education, social services, reo irirangi Māori and Whānau Ora.

Our mission 'me ū ki te tū o Ngāti Hine, ko te oranga te take' ensures we adhere to the values and tīkanga that underpin Ngāti Hine as we endeavour to uplift the wellbeing of our whānau, hapū and hāpori.

Education

Ngati Hine Health Trust offers education support programmes for tamariki aged 0 to 5 years of age in Whangārei and the mid-North region.

Hauora Services

Hauora Whānui is our largest primary and community health service.

We offer Tapuhi/Nursing services, Medical GP services, a traditional Māori health clinic, and Tamariki Ora for mothers and babies.

Mental Health and Addictions

We have a number of services that work with at-risk taiohi and whānau who struggle with mental health, drug or alcohol issues.

Health Promotions

We offer several youth and whānau hauora and education services to our community.

These services include mental health and well-being, rangatahi & young adult sexual health education programmes, sport and recreation activities.

Disability Support

We have comprehensive whānau -driven services that provide support for whānau with disabilities to help them live active, full lives in their homes and communities. We can offer individual in-home support and weekly community activity programs. We have three residential facilities with 24/7 care.

Housing

Ngāti Hine Health Trust delivers a wide range of housing and accommodation services in the mid-North and Whangārei from emergency housing, homelessness to preparing for home ownership as well as providing support for critical housing repairs on Papakainga Housing.
