Ngāti Hine Health Trust provides disability support services for people with physical and intellectual disabilities, offering 24/7 residential care and tailored support that upholds mana and enables meaningful, connected lives.

Our kaupapa is grounded in the belief that every person deserves care that reflects who they are, what they value, and the life they want to lead.

How we support whānau

We provide round the clock supervision and care in comfortable, welcoming residential homes.

Our support includes:

  • Personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Mobility and transfer assistance

  • Medication support and health monitoring

  • Continence care

  • Meal preparation and nutritional support

  • Support with routines and daily structure

  • Emotional, cultural, and social support

Our approach

Although our service is residential, we focus strongly on building and maintaining independence wherever possible.

We support people to:

  • Participate in daily household tasks

  • Develop life skills at their own pace

  • Form and maintain social connections

  • Engage in community activities

  • Build confidence and self determination

  • Explore hobbies, interests, and goals

Every person is encouraged to make choices about their day, their activities, and their wellbeing.

Are you aged over 65 or living with a long term chronic health condition?

Contact your GP for a referral to NASC (Needs Assessment Service Coordination) and ask for Ngāti Hine Health Trust to be your provider.
